Mudbrick Wedding Photos

Kelly and Joe are travellers. In their seven years together they have been to Niue, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, America, England, Germany, Slovenia, Hungary, Belgium, Amsterdam, France and Morocco. A pretty impressive list!
Currently residing in Australia, they wanted their wedding venue to be a treat for their traveling friends and somewhere that showcased just how beautiful New Zealand is – Mudbrick ticked all the boxes.
In the months leading up to their wedding, we took several trips over to Waiheke to scout to find the perfect locations for them. We had plans A, B and C – but when we arrived to the house Kelly had booked in the morning – we had found option D – it was perfect!
Sweeping hills complete with Pohutukawa trees – Kelly and her girls could even keep an eye out as the ferries arrived with all their guests.
We struck it incredibly lucky with the weather and managed to make the most of the pockets of clear skies throughout the day – and even the odd shower wasn’t going to deter Kelly and Joe from exploring beautiful Waiheke Island with us.
Kelly had told us her grandmother is an incredibly important person in her family, so her impromptu opening to their ceremony was perfect – and her moves on the dance floor were completely unrivalled.
Kelly and Joe – thank you so much for including us in your wedding celebration – it was so wonderful to see so many familiar faces – you guys sure know how to throw a party!
