Roesia and Hussain are two of the most generous and thoughtful people you will ever meet. And as soon as you meet their family and friends – it all makes sense.
Hussain and Roesia scored the most perfect weather – despite Roesia’s conviction that it was probably going to rain! Both of their families had been sending up their prayers for the clouds to clear – and someone was definitely listening.
They decided to break up their photoshoot, so after the cutest first look (complete with excited friends and family peering sneakily through the windows) we headed up to the Waiheke clifftops to capture those quintessential New Zealand summer vibes. (It was also at this point that we realised that perhaps we had gone a little overboard wishing for good weather – it was pretty hot out there!!!)
After their beautiful ceremony, we made the most of the Mudbrick grounds and enjoyed the sun starting to dip a little lower. One of the joys of having a late afternoon ceremony, is it means you get to enjoy the golden light for your photoshoot. We even managed to sneak out for just a few minutes and watch the sun set over Auckland city.
