Markovina Wedding Photos – Griff + Nicki
Griff & Nicki were married at Markovina Vineyard in Kumeu. Featured here in their blog post is their stunning garden ceremony, some epic skies at sunset with a cool solitary tree in a field, and some cool night photos! Photographed by Amber.

Griff & Nicki wanted a vineyard / garden wedding – and Markovina in Kumeu is pretty much the perfect venue to fit the bill… not only does it have some awesome onsite photo locations, but it’s only just down the road from our studio – talk about a “home game”!!
In the morning, the boys hung out at Griff & Nicki’s home, BBQing some freshly caught snapper (which was delicious!) and having a few quiet beers – while the girls were pampered at Nicki’s parent’s place… it’s always interesting to see what both the boys & the girls were up to at exactly the same time of day!
The smiles on their faces when Nicki walked up the aisle perfectly sum up the way these two feel about each other – I love how both of them just light up when they see one another!
In between ceremony & reception, we managed to use a cool tree that we have been eyeing up for years (yes, that’s quite literal – YEARS) – thanks for being open minded & playing with our crazy ideas / paddock crashing with us 🙂
Later that night, as the bubbles floated down during the dancing… we noticed that it had just stated to rain outside… Griff & Nicki didn’t need any convincing that a brief step outside in the rain would pay off an in awesome photo to perfectly cap off the evening.
Here’s how the day unfolded – make sure you hit the ‘keep reading this post’ link to see all the photos.
