We are a team of photographers and filmmakers who absolutely love what we do. We’re inspired and driven to push the boundaries of our art. To challenge thinking, excite and inspire those around us.
We have the immense privilege of capturing the lives of people we meet and being able to preserve them forever. Our craft deeply moves people, brings them to tears and draws them closer together.
Perspectives PHOTO + CINEMA is a collaboration of talented individuals coming together to form a fresh and innovative company. We are excited at what the future holds and want to take you with us!
I'm tall, happy and laugh really loudly.
I'm a bit of a romantic. But still grunt and watch action films.
I'm the brains behind the Cinema. I think in terms of light, movement and energy.
My work makes people cry. (Thats pretty much my goal)!
I'm a passionate creative who's pretty stoked to be doing what I love.
I'm the lighting geek of the team. It's because of me that our car is always overloaded, and we're usually lugging more than our body weight in gear.
While I love to capture moments, my goal for every wedding is to create something that will make you go 'wow'.
I'm married to Amber. I drink far too much coffee. I don't get out surfing as often as I'd like to.
I have the best job in the world.
My photography style is focused on capturing the subtleties of people - the way a bride and groom look at each other when they think no one is watching, or the look on a Dad's face as he walks his daughter up the aisle.
I get stupidly excited over pretty light. I get teased for doing my happy dance when I'm loving the images we're taking.
I listen to music at loud volumes, and try my best not to cry at every wedding.
As a third shooter I'm able to take my eyes off the bride and groom, and capture everything else that's going on around them - the proud parents, the cheeky page boys and the excited guests. Every couple is unique and I believe that their photographs should reflect this. I approach every wedding motivated to discover new angles and perspectives.
In the down season I'm a keen snowboarder. I love shoes.
Being part of a team of people who love what they do, means there's never a dull moment around us.
They call me nemo, I hail from the great city of Christchurch.
I'm the kid that has his mitts in every cookie jar, stills, cinema and post production.
I blend a raw journalistic approach with strong composition, color and timing.
Whether it's slaving away all night on a computer or out dodging snakes and crabs on a tropical island, I simply love what I do.
