I'm the lighting geek of the team. It's because of me that our car is always overloaded, and we're usually lugging more than our body weight in gear.
While I love to capture moments, my goal for every wedding is to create something that will make you go 'wow'.
I'm married to Amber. I drink far too much coffee. I don't get out surfing as often as I'd like to.
I have the best job in the world.

My photography style is focused on capturing the subtleties of people - the way a bride and groom look at each other when they think no one is watching, or the look on a Dad's face as he walks his daughter up the aisle.
I get stupidly excited over pretty light. I get teased for doing my happy dance when I'm loving the images we're taking.
I listen to music at loud volumes, and try my best not to cry at every wedding.

As a third shooter I'm able to take my eyes off the bride and groom, and capture everything else that's going on around them - the proud parents, the cheeky page boys and the excited guests. Every couple is unique and I believe that their photographs should reflect this. I approach every wedding motivated to discover new angles and perspectives.
In the down season I'm a keen snowboarder. I love shoes.
